  • Medium-sized to broad hands often have wider nails, which look best when they are of a moderate length and are slightly painted. Painting the nails with dark enamel, and leaving a narrow, unvarnished edge at each side, makes them appear longer and slimmer.
  • Large, square hands usually have large, square nails, which should be filed to a point. When painting them, leave thin, unvarnished line on each side on the nail.
